Colleen Branson has been teaching piano and theory for 36 years, 25+ of those in the Newton area of Surrey, B.C.
Mrs. Branson teaches piano students from age 4 to infinity. It's never too late to start learning the language and joy of music.
Private lessons give a well rounded approach to learning and incorporate theory, ear training, improvisation, and repertoire in a variety of styles, from the many facets of classical and popular.

What I admire most about Colleens teaching style is her caring approach, passion and endless dedication to her students. She was very creative in designing lesson plans to ensure my daughter was engaged with learning. Our family also really enjoyed the recitals that Colleen hosted. They are such a great way for the children to showcase their talents and a wonderful opportunity for the families to connect. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a teacher to inspire your child and help them bring out hidden talents they didn’t know they had.
