I have taken lessons with Philip since I was 6 years old and have finished the level 9 RCM exams. He is always there to guide me if there are mistakes in my hand position, finger and wrist movement, sight reading, rhythm etc. He is very knowledgeable, professional and kept motivating me to improve.

My son has been taking piano lessons from Philip the past 5 years. Sometimes I observe the lessons and Philip is very patient. My son has ADHD and his previous teacher gave up teaching him because he couldn’t sit still or focus, and showed very little progress each week. Since Philip started teaching him, I see the improvement in his behavior and skills. He used to get very frustrated during practicing and during the lessons, complaining that he “doesn’t get it”, but now, as his skills are improving, so is his confidence and attitude, and I am forever grateful.
