My name is Inna.

I live in Toronto (Scarborough), Canada.

My first Piano Teacher was my mom who was always bringing students to our house. How she taught them to love music, and play the piano was beyond just "good". She truly inspired me to become a Piano Teacher myself!
Being a gifted girl, my mom decided that her knowledge wasn't enough any longer, so, she enrolled me to Music School for gifted children.

At the age of 15, I got into a Music College, and was allowed to work there as well as a Piano Accompanist.
From when I was 16 y.o., while being in college for 4 years, I started playing piano on a big stage, and entering the national competitions. It was a fabulous time! Lots of prizes were won, lots of fun playing music, and listening to other amazing performers. Time passed, I graduated with Honours and got my Bachelor's in Arts, Piano Performance and Piano Accompanying Degree.

After graduating the Music College, I felt that being only a concert Pianist and a Piano Accompanist wasn't satisfying anymore as I felt I could share my skills and knowledge with someone else. That's why I decided to enroll to a Pedagogical University which after studying there for 5 years, I graduated with Masters Cum Laude (the highest distinction) Degrees in Music Education and Music. This education gave me a broader knowledge and skills to teach not only Piano and Theory, but Voice as well.

I'm a Registered Teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music, RCM Teacher #104903 , and I'm also a Certified Teacher with Ontario College of Teachers in Good standing, Registration Number: 636014.

Since that time, many years have passed... I raised thousands professional performers, and those who wanted to learn playing piano for themselves. Overall, my teaching experience is more than 30 years.
I started in Ukraine, my motherland, and continued here, in Canada. And let me tell you - all of my students were really as those bright SPARKS - they had sparks starting learning how to play the piano, they had the sparks doing recitals, exams, and competitions, and they still have those sparks towards me, their Teacher. That's why I named my school as SPARKS MUSIC ACADEMY!

And in addition to being the TEACHER, I continue my work as a PIANO ACCOMPANIST and CONCERT PIANIST all around the city as I cannot live without your majesty, MUSIC!

Started learning piano when I was 5, finished ARCT performer diploma at age 16. During the years of piano studies, I have learned to love music with a passionate heart. I hope to share my experience in music with students, and not just focus on fingering and static practices, but really foster a loving heart towards music. Learn to appreciate music,
By appreciating great works from famous composers. My favorite composer is Chopin, as his music is really delicate that touches my heart. I hope my students can find out what composers' music that touches their heart, through interactive lessons with me.

Miss Donna Huang is a dynamic, dedicated, and creative piano teacher whose passion lies in teaching and empowering children. She values children's amazing gifts and hopes to inspire and empower her students to do their best and to be themselves. While imparting musical knowledge and skills to her students is essential, building positive relationships with her students is integral to their well-being and self-confidence - so that they know and feel that she believes in them always!

She has over 18 years of piano teaching experience and have worked with children for more than 23 years. She believes the first piano learning experience is the most special and unique moment in a child's life. She knows how important it is to provide a positive, fun, and encouraging learning environment so that children's natural curiosity, use of imagination, self-expression, and creativity can be explored and nurtured.

Ingrid is widely admired for her soulful and soothing interpretations of adult contemporary favorites as well as her dynamic and playful renditions of show tunes and light jazz classics. Ingrid’s sound has been described as a combination of Diana Krall and Sarah Brightman with a hint of Sarah McLachlan.

Ingrid is a seasoned vocalist thanks in part to having been forged by fire as a soloist in several oratorio performances including Handel’s Messiah. Her passion lies in connecting with audiences through her vibrant and varied stage shows. Whether Ingrid is performing with a small combo or a full orchestra her multi-lingual repertoire such as “La vie en rose” and “Regresa a mi” transports her audiences to distant lands and then welcomes them home with heartfelt and nostalgic melodies such as “Songbird” and “Danny boy”.

Recently Ingrid has completed her much anticipated debut album 'Rhythms of Your Heart' which was produced by award winning, Grammy nominated producer Daryl Bennett and features the outstanding talents of Eli Bennett, Vince Mai, Dave Martone, Roy Tan, Adam Thomas and the glamorous Rosemary Siemens. Combined, these artists have won several accolades and have performed and recorded with artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Michael Buble, Natalie Cole, Nickelback, and The Temptations.

For nearly 3 decades, Lora Wentworth has taught piano lessons (ages 4 and up) and saxophone lessons in Kelowna (and beyond). Students return every year for lessons because she cares and encourages her students of all ages and abilities. Lora has been told many times that she is so much more than a Music Teacher. She is a friend and mentor, helping students feel safe and nurtured.
